Hello everyone,
So I thought I'd add something extra to this blog and it is
reviews of books that I've read or am currently reading. I love reading - there
are days when I start reading something and because I get hooked onto the
storyline, I can't put it down which results in no sleep.
Very bad, I know but it's a habit that I can't break.
"I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at
once."
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a
few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter
inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters
suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be
completely rewritten.
What I can say about this book is that although it seems like an
easy read, it questions things that normally would not be mentioned in the
open. It has the power to surprise, make you laugh out loud and cry all at the
same time.
I was recommended this book by many people - from cousins to
school friends - and I am the kind of person who if someone tells me to read
something, I can't but if I pick it up on my own accord, I have no problem
whatsoever.
This book was different though because the initial idea of two
cancer sufferers was already interesting as it is and I can safely say that
this was a lovely book to read. I am glad that I gave it a chance because I
know that I would have regretted it if I hadn't.
The Fault In Our
Stars is actually in the
midst of becoming a movie which is said to be released in cinemas in 2014 so I
would highly highly recommend reading this.
Let me know your thoughts on this book if you have read it or any
other books that you're currently loving.
Have a nice day/evening.
